Ok. Sorry, I must've misundertood the use of the parallel queues then. This sounds like it will work in our case.

 

To make sure I understand correctly: If I have a partition region spread over several nodes with parallel queues and AsyncEventListeners defined in each node and then I do a put to that region the event will be queued only on the node the event was local to, correct? So there is no chance of doing duplicate DB operations?

 

Also, what about a put to a replicated region spread out over several nodes with parallel queues and AsyncEventListeners defined in each? Will the put event get queued in all of those nodes or just one? Again, I'm concerned about avoiding duplicate DB operations.
