Ok. I am new to Linux so please bear with me. When I connect to cd-rom, under removable devices, to drive D: I get a message at the bottom:

I am using Ubuntu version of Linux. I am not sure how to use tar to uncompress the installer nor do I know what folder it is in.
What directory is the .vmx file located?
