Each time I reboot my Fedora 18 host with VMWare Workstation 9.0.1 and start a Virtual Machine, I am prompted as to whether I copied or moved a virtual machine. If I specify "I moved it", I can launch and use the virtual machine. However, if I reboot after using the virtual machine, I am prompted again.
The exact message I'm getting is:
This virtual machine might have been moved or copied.
In order to configure certain management and networking features, VMware Workstation needs to know if this virtual machine was moved or copied.
If you don't know, answer "I copied it".
Considering the size of my virtual machine library, this is a rather annoying issue. I've wiped out ~/.vmware/ several times, but it's not prevented the message from showing up.
