Hi,

1) Why we get the "vSphere HA VM monitoning error" and how to avoid it?

>>  You might have VM monitoring enabled, if you dont want to enable.

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1027734

  • Log in to the vCenter Server using the vSphere Client.
  • Right-click on VMware HA Cluster and choose Edit Settings
  • In the Cluster Settings dialog box, Select VM Monitoring
  • VM Monitoring Status: VM Monitoring drop down box, select Disabled
  • Click OK

2) Why HA reset failed (We indeed don't want to get it reset) ?

You can refer this doc if applicable to you

http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2032670

3) Should we turn off "vSphere HA VM monitoring" for this particular VM ?

>> If is it high I/O intensive VM, yes it will good idea to off vm monitoring

Regards

Mohammed
