I will need more information to understand what is actually causing the problem. Validation attempts several different operations.
You appear to not have an IP address for a provisioned VM. The exact issue will be based on your network setup (are you using one or serveral networks for your DD installation) and whether you are using IP Pools or DHCP. If you can create a diagnostics bundle (with DD, System tab -> System Settings -> Diagnostics), download it and send directly to my email mwest@vmware.com, I will take a look at the issue. I suspect that you might be using a network without DHCP or that your DHCP server is communicating correctly with your DNS server. Hard to tell until I see the Diagnostic bundle.
