MacBook w/ SL, WM Fusion & WinXPPro Network lost

When I first loaded Fusion and then installed XP Pro I was ableto get online, down load SW I needed, all worked great. THEN . . . I loaded McAfee, all went down hill from there!

On the XP side I am unable to get a useble IP address with DHCP enabled. (Keeps coming up with 192.168.239.250, my network is 10.1.100.***) With a complete static address for my network, IP, SNet, GE DNS etc. I can not get on line. I also can not ping anything except for the Mac itself. On the Mac side I am able to get online either DHCP or Static IP.

I removed McAfee and also used the MCPR.exe to remove ALL of it.

I set up Virtual Machine, Network to Bridged and I can finally get online by leaving XP as DHCP and the Mac as either, but I can only get 10Mbs connectivity. Win XP side only, Mac SL still works fine.

First, any idea what happened? Everything else was great till I installed McAfee. Zero issues with all of the Windows SW I needed to use.

How Can I go back/correct this issue?

Note: I need Windows for programing items like IP cameras, Security panels, Access Control panels etc. Most have their own win based IP finder SW/utility. I need to set a temp static IP address to do the initial programing but at 10Mbs, some items are going to be very slow to program.

Please help!
