Are you certain that you are seeing PCoIP traffic (TCP 4172 from Security Server and UDP 4172 in both directions) between your Security Server and Connection Server? When it is set up correctly according to the 3 steps in http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-14974 you will see PCoIP traffic between your Security Server and your virtual desktop.

This is what step 3 says.

3. Update the firewall to allow PCoIP to pass through. This is:

PCoIP between View Client and Security Server

  • TCP destination port 4172 from Client to Security Server
  • UDP destination port 4172 from Client to Security Server
  • UDP source port 4172 from Security Server to Client (this is the reply UDP data)

PCoIP between Security Server and virtual desktop

  • TCP destination port 4172 from Security Server to virtual desktop
  • UDP destination port 4172 from Security Server to virtual desktop
  • UDP source port 4172 from virtual desktop to Security Server (this is the reply UDP data)
If your firewall is blocking PCoIP anywhere or if you have misconfigured any of the other 3 steps then a black screen is expected on remote access.
If you block PCoIP then PCoIP won't work.
My suggestion is to go through the 3 steps again very carefully and then trace PCoIP packets either side of your Security Server. Also check your firewall logs.
Please post back what your solution was when you have it working.
    Thanks.
    Mark.
