Thanks for your reply. I have to specify few things before i confirm the replacement of license keys. we have vsphere 4.1 environment U3. So if i upgrade using a .pak file to 5.6 still i have to replace the license keys(old) which are assigned in 5.0.3 . If so will the .PAK file has the text license key.

"To use vCenter Operations Manager and vCenter Infrastructure navigator components with vCenter Server versions 5.0 or 4.1, obtain the compatible license keys for these products from the text file located under each of the Product downloads"
